Joseph Vilella is an artist dedicated to the creation of ‘one of a kind’ modern art works for the discerning collector. This website will provide an insight into his artistic drive and commitment, the exposure of his art through the years, a gallery of selected pieces and a current valuation of selected pieces. Through the mid to late 1970s Vilella was a well respected advertising photographer. A selection of his professional photography is also shown in this website.

Dedication

“This website and my art now and forever, are dedicated to four women who truly inspired me and supported me through my painting path. To my dear deceased first wife Sharis, who in life inspired me to paint and in her death bed, made my promise that I would continue painting “….because your paintings are beautiful and the world has to see them”. To my dear deceased second wife Betty, who took up Sharis’s torch, ardently promoted my art, and in doing so, caused it to be discovered. To Mrs. Louarn Fleet-Rest in Peace, who became my first knowledgeable supporter and collector, and to Mrs. Janice Ephron (wife of Modern Art collector Dr. Eugene Ephron- Rest in Peace), who became my very best supporter and collector.
